keystroke_AI is an application designed for biometric authentication through keystroke dynamics. It analyzes how you type and implements a modified Manhattan distance metric for accuracy. The system achieves a low equal error rate of 7.75% when working with free-text keystroke data. This project was developed as part of the CSN-371 Artificial Intelligence course.

🖥️ System Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS, or Linux.
• Memory: At least 4 GB RAM.
• Storage: 100 MB of free disk space.
• Python: Version 3.6 or above is required to run the application.

🔧 Installation Steps

1. Visit the Download Page Go to the Releases page to access the latest version of the software.

2. Download the Software Look for the latest release. Click the download link for your operating system. This will download the installation file.

3. Run the Installation File Once the download is complete, locate the file in your Downloads folder. Double-click on the file to start the installation process.

4. Follow the Instructions The installation wizard will guide you through the setup. Click “Next” to accept the default settings, or adjust them as needed.

5. Complete Installation Click “Finish” once the installation is complete. The application will now be available on your desktop or in your applications folder.

⚙️ Running the Application

1. Launch keystroke_AI Find the application icon on your desktop or in your application menu. Double-click to open.

2. Setup Your Profile Follow the prompts to create a user profile. This step will help the system learn your unique typing patterns.

3. Start Authentication After setup, you can start using the application for secure access. Type as you normally would, and let the software learn your keystrokes.
